Dakarai Gichere vs Kendis Kithuka

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Mombasa Chesoni, Mombasa,  taking place on 12/12/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Eastern African Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dakarai Gichere (21(1) - 10(7)) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Kendis Kithuka(22(12) - 9(7) - 2) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Both Gichere and Kithuka weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tavon Wanga, and the three ringside judges are Hayden Sakudao, Connor Kamau and Dembe Mutunga.
