Carlos Monte vs Diego Vela

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Paraguay-Alto Parana promoted show at Ciudad del Este Nocito, Ciudad del Este,  taking place on 13/12/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Paraguay Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Carlos Monte (11 - 4 - 2) who hails from San Lorenzo, Paraguay and Diego Vela(28(1) - 6(2)) from Ciudad del Este, Paraguay.  Both Monte and Vela weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xabat Verano, and the three ringside judges are Antonio Vallecillo, Diego Munos and Isidro Mandes.  

Round 1: 

Monte steps away from his opponent and tries to land a jab, but Vela slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Monte's body.
