Jeremie Gillard vs Robert Glaspie

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at GAT Gym, Gaineau,  taking place on 08/12/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Jeremie Gillard (13 - 0) who hails from Laval, Canada and Robert Glaspie(11 - 10 - 2) from Calgary, Canada.  Both Gillard and Glaspie weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Mostyn, and the three ringside judges are James Mabon, Paris Clarin and James Dunlap.  

Round 1: 

Gillard advances into close range.  Glaspie throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Gillard closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Gillard hits home with a left hook.

Gillard steps inside and lands a left hook.  Gillard throws a right uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.

Gillard manouvers Glaspie onto the ropes.  Gillard lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.
