Sam Balakshin vs Dave Brydon

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-New South Wales promoted show at Olympic Park Sports Hall, Sydney,  taking place on 02/01/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Balakshin (14(8) - 0 - 1) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Dave Brydon(0 - 5 - 1) from Melbourne, Australia.  Balakshin weighed in at 126 pounds, while Brydon weighed in at 125 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Robert Callis, and the three ringside judges are Brad Carvelli, Michael Kaplan and Matthew Curto.  

Round 1:

Balakshin holds on to his opponent.  Balakshin leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  As Brydon tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Balakshin dabs at his face checking for damage.

Balakshin pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Balakshin pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Brydon's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Brydon's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Brydon's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
