Russel Normandin vs Laramie Mellett

Boxing Daily Report from the AI France-Upper Normandy promoted show at Le Havre Beauchamp, Le Havre,  taking place on 16/12/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the France-Upper Normandy Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Russel Normandin (14 - 9 - 3) who hails from Rouen, France and Laramie Mellett(21(4) - 1) from Rouen, France.  Normandin weighed in at 159 pounds and 15 ounces, while Mellett weighed in at 159 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Adalard Delcamp, and the three ringside judges are Algernon Nodine, Orleans Eury and Denis Perrault.

Mellett lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Mellett holds on to his opponent.  Mellett leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Normandin tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Normandin dabs at his face checking for damage.  Normandin has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
