Germain Houlette vs Laurent Bay

Boxing Daily Report from the Akoto Promotions promoted show at Marc Ulliel Gym, Paris,  taking place on 19/12/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the France-Ile-de-France Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Germain Houlette (8 - 11 - 1) who hails from Paris, France and Laurent Bay(11 - 10 - 6) from Paris, France.  Both Houlette and Bay weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alexandre Marot, and the three ringside judges are Thibaud Lippmann, Mardian Florian and Yves Aime.  

Round 1: 

Bay closes the distance.  Houlette hits home with a right hook.  
Bay lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

As Bay tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Houlette.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.

Houlette attempts to land a right hook, but Bay sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to Houlette's body.
