Rodrigo Rayas vs Senon Guerro

Boxing Daily Report from the Adabor Promotions promoted show at Guatemala City Menendez, Guatemala City,  taking place on 17/12/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Guatemala-Guatemala Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rodrigo Rayas (19(4) - 11(3) - 1) who hails from Mixco, Guatemala and Senon Guerro(10 - 7(1) - 2) from Villa Nueva, Guatemala.  Both Rayas and Guerro weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leonardo Abeita, and the three ringside judges are Rico Capo, Jeraldo Lusco and Juan Luque.  

Round 1: 

Rayas closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Rayas clinches his opponent.  Rayas is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Rayas.  
Guerro lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Rayas lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Guerro steps to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Rayas slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Rayas steps inside.  Guerro throws a right hook, but Rayas clinches his opponent.  Rayas tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Guerro behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Guerro tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Rayas is looking to close the distance.  Rayas sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Guerro throws a right hook, but Rayas clinches his opponent.  Rayas leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Rayas lands a right hook, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Rayas ties up his opponent.  Rayas is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Rayas lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Guerro is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Guerro sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Rayas closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Rayas lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
The right shot from Rayas could be enough to force the stoppage!  Rayas lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS GUERRO DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Rayas is on target with a potent left uppercut to Guerro's body.  GUERRO IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  It looks like Guerro has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Rayas lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Rayas lands a right uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Guerro lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Rayas hits the target with a solid jab.  
Guerro is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Guerro sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Rayas lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Rayas is looking to close the distance and is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  
Rayas lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Rayas ties up his opponent.  Rayas is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Rayas walks Guerro into the corner.  Rayas lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Guerro hits home with a cross.  
Rayas lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Guerro quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Rayas lands a right uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Guerro switches the action to the outside.  Rayas sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Rayas is on target with a forceful right uppercut to Guerro's body.  GUERRO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Guerro now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Rayas closes the distance and digs in a stinging right uppercut to Guerro's ribs.  
Rayas walks Guerro down, trapping him in the corner.  Rayas pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Rayas digs in a telling right hook to Guerro's body.  GUERRO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Rayas knows Guerro is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Rayas lands a left uppercut to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  He then lands a left uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body, AND KNOCKS GUERRO DOWN!  The count reaches 10, but Guerro is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Rayas!
