Dave Lyn vs James Meckes

Boxing Daily Report from the Silverboypromotions promoted show at Robert Field Gym, El Paso,  taking place on 29/11/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Dave Lyn (2 - 0) who hails from Hartford, USA and James Meckes(3 - 21(1) - 3) from Cincinnati, USA.  Lyn weighed in at 200 pounds, while Meckes weighed in at 199 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Asif Farra, and the three ringside judges are Mark Maddock, Ricky Steenson and Bryan Priddy.  

Round 1: 

Lyn advances into close range.  Lyn pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Round 3: 

Meckes steps inside.  Lyn throws a right hook, but misses the target.  Lyn holds on to his opponent.  Lyn leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Meckes pushes his forearm into Lyn's face.  The referee warns Meckes and breaks the clinch.  
As Meckes tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lyn dabs at his face checking for damage.  Lyn has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused bad swelling  around the left eye.  
Lyn steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Lyn is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Lyn pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Lyn sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Lyn attempts to land a cross, but Meckes sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Lyn lands a stinging jab.  
Lyn advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Lyn pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a firm right hook into Meckes's body.  
Lyn tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a straight 1 - 2.
