Hayden Thomason vs Arran Glenny

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at First Avenue, Minneapolis,  taking place on 22/12/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Hayden Thomason (5 - 0) who hails from Manchester, USA and Arran Glenny(2 - 0 - 1) from Phoenix, USA.  Both Thomason and Glenny weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Phil Bertel, and the three ringside judges are Harry Streblow, Harry Streblow and David Scholar.  

Round 1: 

Glenny quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Thomason hits home with a cross.  
Glenny connects with a cross.  
Thomason connects with a left uppercut.  
Thomason advances into close range.  Thomason lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Thomason has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.

Thomason voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Glenny is whaling away with hooks, but Thomason keeps his defence tight.  
Glenny throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Glenny pivots to the left of his opponent.  Thomason lands two left hook's to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Glenny steps away from his opponent.  Thomason lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Thomason lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Glenny pivots to the side of his opponent.  Thomason lands two left hooks followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Thomason advances into close range.  Glenny sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Thomason lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Glenny sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Thomason steps inside and hits home with a left hook.  
Thomason is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.
