Valeri Gontcharov vs Koldan Babin

Boxing Daily Report from the Chewe Promotions promoted show at Valeri Moroz Gym, Nizhny Novgorod,  taking place on 25/12/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Russia-Nizhny Novgorod Oblast Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Valeri Gontcharov (8 - 15(2) - 1) who hails from Nizhny Novgorod, Russia and Koldan Babin(16 - 11 - 5) from Nizhny Novgorod, Russia.  Both Gontcharov and Babin weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Toma Pozniak, and the three ringside judges are Toma Romanov, Alik Cherkasov and Alik Cherkasov.  

Round 1: 

Babin pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Gontcharov advances into close range and manouvers Babin into the corner.  Gontcharov sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Babin attempts to land a left hook, but Gontcharov sidesteps and counters with a left hook.
