Evgeny Minsky vs Vikenti Kovalchik

Boxing Daily Report from the Kwabi Promotions promoted show at Samara Makhnutin, Samara,  taking place on 25/12/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Russia-Samara Oblast Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Evgeny Minsky (16 - 12 - 2) who hails from Samara, Russia and Vikenti Kovalchik(9 - 13 - 1) from Samara, Russia.  Minsky weighed in at 159 pounds and 3 ounces, while Kovalchik weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fedor Ahn, and the three ringside judges are Afanas Yegorov, Fedar Berezutski and Valeri Klevsov.  

Round 1: 

Minsky advances into close range.  Minsky sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Kovalchik connects with a left uppercut.
