Nicandro Monico vs Diego Cruz

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Wyndham Manta Convection centre, Manta,  taking place on 01/01/2032:

Clearly Los Moreco Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nicandro Monico (10(9) - 1) who hails from Duran, Ecuador and Diego Cruz(8 - 14 - 3) from Cuenco, Ecuador.  Monico weighed in at 146 pounds and 10 ounces, while Cruz weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dario Cruz, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Truan, Rio Contrera and Alejandro Cruz.  

Round 1: 

Cruz gets on the inside.  Monico lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Cruz sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Monico is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents body.

Monico knows Cruz is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Monico lands a left uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  Cruz now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
