Mark Kalanga vs Desideer Steyn

Boxing Daily Report from the Ssenjovu Promotions promoted show at Durban Van Niekerk, Durban,  taking place on 31/12/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South Africa-KwaZulu-Natal Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Kalanga (7 - 0) who hails from Umlazi, South Africa and Desideer Steyn(6 - 8 - 2) from Durban, South Africa.  Kalanga weighed in at 135 pounds, while Steyn weighed in at 134 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Verlyn Selasee, and the three ringside judges are Kasi Mogoeng, Cody Fuani and Khalon Cardoso.
