Vasif Zaidi vs Yashar Mahdavi

Boxing Daily Report from the Zungu Promotions promoted show at Samarqand Magometov, Samarqand,  taking place on 31/12/2031:

Clearly Zungu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uzbekistan-Samarqand Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vasif Zaidi (14 - 15 - 3) who hails from Samarqand, Uzbekistan and Yashar Mahdavi(14 - 7 - 2) from Samarqand, Uzbekistan.  Both Zaidi and Mahdavi weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ahmed Shariff, and the three ringside judges are Vasili Talgatckyzy, Niyazi Sarah and Andrii Ghailauoff.
