James Umanzor vs Rashid Mohammed

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Stanford Stadium, San Francisco,  taking place on 03/03/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Thunder Umanzor (39(31) - 2) who hails from Santa Ana, USA and Rashid Mohammed(16 - 5(3) - 1) from Kampala, Uganda.  Umanzor weighed in at 239 pounds and 4 ounces, while Mohammed weighed in at 229 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ben Banos, and the three ringside judges are Abdul Ozer, Dominic Pollino and Joshua Veitch.  

Round 1: 

Umanzor lands a stinging overhand left.  
Mohammed lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Umanzor switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Umanzor attempts to land a jab, but Mohammed slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Mohammed steps inside and lands two left hooks followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Mohammed forces Umanzor to retreat onto the ropes.  Mohammed digs in a right hook to Umanzor's body.  Mohammed throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Umanzor time to recover.

Mohammed closes the distance.  Umanzor hits home with a sharp right hook.  Umanzor throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Mohammed hits home with a left hook.  Umanzor wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Mohammed.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Mohammed digs in a left uppercut to Umanzor's body.

Umanzor lands a HUGE right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE MOHAMMED WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Mohammed quickly recovers. 
Mohammed steps inside.  Umanzor quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mohammed digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Umanzor is looking to keep his distance and lands a straight 1 - 2.  Umanzor throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to Umanzor's ribs.  
Mohammed closes the distance.  Mohammed drives a left hook into Umanzor's ribs.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mohammed dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Mohammed.  The foul has worsened the damage  around the right eye.

Mohammed sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Umanzor lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Umanzor throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  Mohammed quickly recovers.

He then lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND MOHAMMED IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Umanzor!
