Cruz Minjarez vs Angel Trueba

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, Zapopan,  taking place on 24/01/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ESPN Latin America, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Cruz Minjarez (16(11) - 0) who hails from Matamoros, Mexico and Angel Trueba(25(7) - 1 - 1) from Nezahualcoyotl, Mexico.  Both Minjarez and Trueba weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jeraldo Canada, and the three ringside judges are Salvador Lobos, Miguel Alviso and Xavier Fontanez.  

Round 1:
