John Draffen vs Mike Crossin

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-South Australia promoted show at Adelaide Giunti, Adelaide,  taking place on 12/01/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia-South Australia Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Draffen (5 - 6 - 1) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and Mike Crossin(16 - 1) from Adelaide, Australia.  Both Draffen and Crossin weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Adam Pennison, and the three ringside judges are Jay Keller, Antwan Whitehead and Kian Pugh.  

Round 1: 

Draffen steps away from his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Crossin is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
Crossin lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.

Draffen switches the action to the outside.  Crossin is on target with a cross.  
Crossin connects with a right uppercut.  Crossin holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Crossin pushes his forearm into Draffen's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Crossin.  
Crossin lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Draffen dabs at his face checking for damage.

As Draffen tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Crossin has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
