Bruce Finnegan vs Hayden Barella

Boxing Daily Report from the Alhassan Promotions promoted show at Perth Mowat, Perth,  taking place on 14/01/2032:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Western Australia Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bruce Finnegan (4 - 2 - 2) who hails from Perth, Australia and Hayden Barella(12 - 10) from Perth, Australia.  Both Finnegan and Barella weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Fram, and the three ringside judges are Neil Dykes, Dave McPherson and Duncan Down.  

Round 1: 

Barella advances into close range and connects with a left uppercut.  
Finnegan throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Barella's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Barella closes the distance and forces Finnegan to back into the ropes.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Barella dabs at his face checking for damage.
