Alejandro Borge vs Guillermo Aragona

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Camara Ganadera Colosseum, San Jose,  taking place on 29/01/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Costa Rica-San Jose Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alejandro Borge (15(9) - 1(1)) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Guillermo Aragona(8 - 6(1) - 2) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  Borge weighed in at 239 pounds and 1 ounces, while Aragona weighed in at 224 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Luis Seta, and the three ringside judges are Selestino Guillen, Vicente Guzman and Angel Fontanilla.  

Round 1: 

Borge advances into close range and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Borge holds on to his opponent.  Aragona is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Aragona about fouling.  
Aragona tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.

Aragona sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Borge lands with a solid jab.  
Borge closes the distance.  Aragona throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Borge clinches his opponent.  Aragona tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Borge behind the head. The referee warns Aragona and breaks the clinch.  
Aragona feints a cross, tricking Borge into throwing a left hook counter.  Aragona is waiting for the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Borge advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Borge closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Aragona throws a left hook, but Borge clinches his opponent.  Borge is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Borge is on target with a stinging right uppercut.  Borge attempts to land a left uppercut, but Aragona dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Aragona is looking to keep his distance.  Borge throws an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Borge lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Borge connects with a sharp right uppercut.  
Aragona sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Borge is looking to close the distance.  Aragona pivots to the right of his opponent.  Aragona throws a right hook, but Borge holds on to his opponent.  Borge is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Borge lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Borge hits home with a stinging right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Aragona's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Aragona's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Aragona steps away from his opponent.  Borge quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Aragona lands a cross.  
Aragona pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.

Borge lands a cross, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS ARAGONA SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Aragona almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Aragona throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a HUGE left hook.  ARAGONA IS HURT!  Aragona recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Aragona steps to the outside.  Borge lands an overhand left followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Borge closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Borge lands a cross, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Borge closes the distance.  Aragona could be stopped here, if Borge can find the right shot!  Borge lands a left hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  The winner by KO is Borge!
