Mark Bard vs John Craigo

Boxing Daily Report from the Dana White promoted show at Vancouver Phillips, Vancouver,  taking place on 17/01/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Canada-British Columbia Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Bard (11 - 1) who hails from Surrey, Canada and John Craigo(14(4) - 1) from Vancouver, Canada.  Bard weighed in at 118 pounds, while Craigo weighed in at 117 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Michael Crosbie, and the three ringside judges are John Hendren, Mick Hanning and Connor Blakely.  

Round 1: 

Bard switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Craigo drives a ramrod jab into his opponents face.  
Craigo gets on the inside and walks Bard down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Bard lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Craigo is on target with a cross.  
Bard steps to the outside.  Craigo sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Bard attempts to land a jab, but Craigo parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Craigo gets on the inside and forces Bard to retreat into the blue corner.  Craigo digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Bard tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Craigo advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Bard on the ropes.  Craigo lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.
