Tunc Cos vs John Taylor

Boxing Daily Report from the Donnelly Boxing promoted show at Durban Convention Centre, Durban,  taking place on 31/01/2032:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Tunc Cos (4 - 0) who hails from Ankara, Turkey and John Taylor(3(1) - 0) from Waitakere, New Zealand.  Cos weighed in at 140 pounds, while Taylor weighed in at 139 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kasi Mogoeng, and the three ringside judges are Ollie Rensburg, Ebi Muthambi and Davie Bilengi.  

Round 1: 

Taylor pivots to the left of his opponent.  Taylor hits home with a right hook.  Taylor attempts to land a left uppercut, but Cos blocks the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Cos switches the action to the outside and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Taylor digs in a left hook to Cos's body.  
Taylor pivots to the side of his opponent.  Cos lands a firm right hook.  
Cos tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Taylor connects with a right uppercut.  Taylor tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Cos lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  Cos tries to land a cross, but Taylor slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

Cos is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands with a hard jab.

Cos tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a sharp jab.  Cos tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Cos.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Taylor walks Cos down, trapping him on the ropes.  Taylor quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribs.

Cos tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.
