Ibrahim Malek vs Waleed Zaidi

Boxing Daily Report from the Munamonga Promotions promoted show at Alexandria Maroun, Alexandria,  taking place on 18/01/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Egypt-Alexandria Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ibrahim Malek (15 - 12 - 3) who hails from Alexandria, Egypt and Waleed Zaidi(18(2) - 14(3)) from Alexandria, Egypt.  Malek weighed in at 175 pounds, while Zaidi weighed in at 174 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Faisal Algahary, and the three ringside judges are Kashif Elkholy, Rehan Elaraby and Tariq Bari.  

Round 1: 

Zaidi closes the distance and connects with a right uppercut.

You can sense Malek is getting frustrated in there.   He throws a low uppercut...that landed south of the border! The ref ignores Zaidi's protests and signals for the action to continue!  
Malek throws a left uppercut, but Zaidi clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Zaidi pushes his forearm into Malek's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Zaidi to stop fouling.

Malek is looking to keep his distance.  Zaidi hits home with a cross.
