John King vs Billy Abbey

Boxing Daily Report from the Simasiku Promotions promoted show at Manukau Aday, Manukau,  taking place on 23/12/2031:

Clearly Simasiku Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John King (18 - 13 - 1) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and Billy Abbey(7 - 16(1) - 5) from Waitakere, New Zealand.  King weighed in at 168 pounds, while Abbey weighed in at 169 pounds And 1 ounces.    As Abbey came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Oliver Ngarongomate, and the three ringside judges are Glynn Telford, Dale Mostyn and Joshua Haile.
