Karan Gaud vs Ian Traill

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Longshoreman's Hall, San Francisco,  taking place on 22/01/2032:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the USA-California Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MSG Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Karan Gaud (28(20) - 1) who hails from Los Angeles, USA and Ian Traill(12 - 16(1) - 1) from Riverside, USA.  Both Gaud and Traill weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Adam Paulin, and the three ringside judges are Waleed Naqvi, Fraser Lesley and Joey Brice.  

Round 1: 

Gaud steps inside.  Gaud connects with a solid left uppercut.  Gaud ties up his opponent.  Gaud pushes his forearm into Traill's face.  The ref breaks Gaud's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Gaud dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Gaud closes the distance and lands a sharp right hook.  Gaud holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Gaud pushes his forearm into Traill's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Traill is looking to keep his distance.  Gaud lands an overhand right followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Gaud lands a stiff jab.  
Traill attempts to land a jab, but Gaud sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Gaud lands a cross.  
Gaud steps inside and hits home with a left uppercut.  Gaud holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Gaud pushes his forearm into Traill's face.  The ref breaks Gaud's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Gaud connects with a left hook.  
Traill switches the action to the outside.  Gaud lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Gaud advances into close range and connects with a stinging left uppercut.  Gaud clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Gaud pushes his forearm into Traill's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Gaud gets on the inside and lands a BRUTAL right hook.  TRAILL WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Traill quickly recovers. 
Gaud quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Gaud closes the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Gaud holds on to his opponent.  Gaud is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Gaud's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Traill is looking to keep his distance.  Gaud connects with a solid cross.  
Gaud gets on the inside.  As Traill tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Gaud dabs at his face checking for damage.  Gaud has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused bad swelling  around the right eye.  
Gaud manages to force Traill into a corner.  Gaud drives a weighty left uppercut into his opponents liver.  IT LOOKS LIKE TRAILL WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Traill quickly recovers. 
Gaud drives a solid left hook into Traill's body.  
Gaud steps inside and hits home with a solid left hook.  
Gaud connects with a cross.  
Gaud steps inside and hits home with a firm left hook.  Gaud throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Gaud lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Gaud throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Gaud clinches his opponent.  Gaud is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Gaud pushes his forearm into Traill's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Gaud about fouling.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Traill's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Traill's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Gaud lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Gaud throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Gaud steps inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Gaud slams a nasty left hook into Traill's liver.  TRAILL IS HURT!  Traill quickly recovers. 
Gaud advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double right hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS TRAILL DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Traill quickly recovers. 
Gaud lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Gaud throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Gaud lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Traill recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Gaud is on target with a left hook.  
Traill steps to the outside.  Gaud lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Gaud is looking to close the distance and lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Gaud is on target with a CRUSHING left uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE TRAILL WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Traill tries to step out of his opponents range.  Gaud thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Traill away.  Gaud is on target with a big right uppercut.  TRAILL IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE ISNT GOING TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Gaud!
