Olier Lacan vs Gyuri Barbas

Boxing Daily Report from the Belpit Promo #5 promoted show at Patinoire Municipale, Tours,  taking place on 02/02/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Greasy Olier Lacan (25(3) - 1) who hails from Toulon, France and Gyuri Barbas(11 - 14(1)) from Athens, Greece.  Lacan weighed in at 219 pounds, while Barbas weighed in at 243 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Blaise Oulette, and the three ringside judges are Barbabe Nys, Flannery Segalen and Larrimore Carlin.  

Round 1: 

Lacan closes the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Lacan holds on to his opponent.  Lacan pushes his forearm into Barbas's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Lacan sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a stiff jab.  
Lacan throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Barbas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Barbas tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Barbas lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Lacan steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  Lacan clinches his opponent.  Lacan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Lacan.  
Lacan lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Lacan ties up his opponent.  Lacan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  Lacan attempts to land a left uppercut, but Barbas blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Lacan lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Barbas attempts to land a left hook, but Lacan sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Lacan hits home with a right hook.  
Lacan is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Lacan advances into close range and is on target with a sharp left hook.  Lacan tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Lacan connects with a sharp left hook.  Barbas wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lacan dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Lacan manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Lacan digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Lacan lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Lacan lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Lacan gets on the inside.  Lacan lands a sharp right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Barbas dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Barbas pivots to the side of his opponent.  Barbas throws a left hook, but Lacan clinches his opponent.  Lacan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Lacan throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Lacan walks Barbas into the corner.  Lacan lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Lacan lands two right hook's to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Lacan lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Barbas's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Barbas's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Barbas's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Lacan lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Lacan steps inside and walks Barbas down, trapping him in the corner.  Lacan throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Lacan gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Lacan lands a sharp left uppercut.  
Lacan steps inside and drives a solid left hook into Barbas's body.  
Lacan closes the distance and walks Barbas down, trapping him in the red corner.  Barbas is on target with a right hook.

Lacan manouvers Barbas into the blue corner.  Lacan lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Lacan lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Lacan clinches his opponent.  Lacan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Lacan is looking to close the distance and hits home with a stinging left hook.  Lacan clinches his opponent.  Lacan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Lacan's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Lacan walks his opponent down, trapping him in the red corner.  Lacan lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Barbas almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Lacan pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Barbas has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Lacan lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Lacan lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Barbas steps to the outside.  Barbas feints a left hook, and then throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a WICKED right uppercut.  BARBAS IS HURT!  
Lacan cuts off the ring, trapping Barbas in the blue corner.  Lacan is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Lacan is on target with a HUGE left hook.  BARBAS IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT BARBAS CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Lacan!
