Jean Philip Schooyt vs Orleans Cevert

Boxing Daily Report from the Belpit Promo #5 promoted show at Patinoire Municipale, Tours,  taking place on 02/02/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Scharp Jean Philip Schooyt (17(11) - 0) who hails from Ghent, Belgium and Orleans Cevert(18 - 8 - 2) from Metz, France.  Both Schooyt and Cevert weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Blaise Oulette, and the three ringside judges are Barbabe Nys, Flannery Segalen and Larrimore Carlin.  

Round 1: 

Schooyt lands a straight 1 - 2.

Schooyt is looking to keep his distance and connects with an overhand right.  
Schooyt feints a cross, but Cevert ignores the feint and responds with a left hook.

Frustration is reaching boiling point for Cevert now.   He turns Schooyt and throws an uppercut into his opponents groin area!  The ref doesnt appear to have noticed the foul and signals for the action to continue.  
Schooyt steps to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Schooyt stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Cevert throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Schooyt circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Cevert goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Schooyt's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
