Sam Aitkens vs Mark Roderick

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Iowa promoted show at Des Moines Civic Center Stoner Theater, Des Moines,  taking place on 29/01/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Iowa Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Aitkens (16 - 8(1) - 6) who hails from Des Moines, USA and Mark Roderick(6 - 6 - 3) from Davenport, USA.  Both Aitkens and Roderick weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vincent Bathgate, and the three ringside judges are David Crosbie, Charles Mains and Michael Hutchison.  

Round 1: 

Aitkens is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Aitkens clinches his opponent.  Roderick is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.
