Ben Ahearne vs Elliot Brockett

Boxing Daily Report from the Payakaroon Boxing Entertainment promoted show at Convention & Exhibition Centre, Melbourne,  taking place on 07/02/2032:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Oceania Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ben Ahearne (11(7) - 1) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Elliot Brockett(6 - 1) from Adelaide, Australia.  Both Ahearne and Brockett weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Blake Lapshin, and the three ringside judges are James Christou, Gus Mow and Malik Firman.  

Round 1: 

Ahearne advances into close range and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Ahearne tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Brockett dabs at his face checking for damage.
