Doug MacDuff vs Deri Meo

Boxing Daily Report from the Pearlnew Promotions promoted show at Emirates Arena, Glasgow,  taking place on 14/03/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the British Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Doug The Chaman MacDuff (11(10) - 0) who hails from Dundee, UK and Deri Meo(5 - 8 - 2) from Leicester, UK.  Both MacDuff and Meo weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Martin MacBeth, and the three ringside judges are Hamish McBeth, Charlie MacNeal and Tom Crowe.  

Round 1: 

Meo steps away from his opponent.  MacDuff connects with a firm cross.  
MacDuff lands two straights to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
MacDuff tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a cross.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Meo's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Meo's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

MacDuff lands a stiff jab.  
MacDuff lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
MacDuff steps inside.  MacDuff pivots to the side of his opponent.  MacDuff lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a double right hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  MacDuff holds on to his opponent.  MacDuff is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures MacDuff about fouling.  
MacDuff is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  MacDuff lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS MEO SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Meo now seems to have got his legs back.
