Elmaddin Rizaev vs Mehdi Aghakhanov

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Azerbaijan-Lankaran promoted show at Masally Mirkasumov, Masally,  taking place on 09/02/2032:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Azerbaijan-Lankaran Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Elmaddin Rizaev (5 - 3 - 2) who hails from Lankaran, Azerbaijan and Mehdi Aghakhanov(3 - 14 - 3) from Lankaran, Azerbaijan.  Rizaev weighed in at 168 pounds, while Aghakhanov weighed in at 167 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Nijat Azimzade, and the three ringside judges are Haider Odeh, Yasin Mahammadov and Vuqar Usifov.

Aghakhanov connects with a left hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Aghakhanov.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
