Antoine Giroud vs Odilon Fonki

Boxing Daily Report from the Simanansa Promotions promoted show at Justin Drucker Gym, Bamenda,  taking place on 14/02/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon-Nord-Oueste Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Antoine Giroud (6 - 20 - 3) who hails from Bamenda, Cameroon and Odilon Fonki(11(1) - 2) from Bamenda, Cameroon.  Both Giroud and Fonki weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alain Nolin, and the three ringside judges are Olympe Abouna, Giles Baga and Ross Madjo.  

Round 1: 

Fonki is looking to close the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Fonki hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Giroud steps to the outside.  Fonki sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Fonki tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.
