Diego Vasallo vs Fraco Larin

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Cuba-Holguin promoted show at Holguin Quintana, Holguin,  taking place on 14/02/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Cuba-Holguin Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Vasallo (17 - 3 - 4) who hails from Holguin, Cuba and Fraco Larin(11 - 8 - 1) from Holguin, Cuba.  Vasallo weighed in at 168 pounds, while Larin weighed in at 167 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jax Pastrano, and the three ringside judges are Guillermo Mercado, Diego Garcia and Fresco Carnero.  

Round 1:

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Vasallo dabs at his face checking for damage.  Vasallo has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Larin gets on the inside.  Vasallo lands a right hook.  As Larin tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Vasallo dabs at his face checking for damage.

It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Vasallo.  The foul has worsened the damage  around the right eye.
