Duleep Shetty vs Premnath Goswami

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Telangana promoted show at Amjad Ishmael Gym, Hyderabad,  taking place on 20/01/2032:

Clearly AI India-Telangana have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India-Telangana Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Duleep Shetty (2 - 5 - 1) who hails from Hyderabad, India and Premnath Goswami(3 - 1) from Hyderabad, India.  Shetty weighed in at 135 pounds, while Goswami weighed in at 134 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ganesa Morar, and the three ringside judges are Azam Naqvi, Aftab Afzal and Azam Naqvi.  

Round 1: 

Goswami gets on the inside and digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents ribs.  Goswami holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Goswami pushes his forearm into Shetty's face.  The referee warns Goswami and breaks the clinch.  
Shetty throws a left uppercut, but Goswami clinches his opponent.  Goswami leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Goswami pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Goswami closes the distance and forces Shetty to back into the ropes.  Goswami lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Goswami connects with a solid right uppercut.  
Shetty throws a left hook, but Goswami ties up his opponent.  Goswami uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Shetty behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Goswami to stop fouling.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Shetty's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Shetty's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Shetty's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Shetty's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.
