Girish Baliyan vs Confucius Van

Boxing Daily Report from the Mbun Promotions promoted show at Mashhad Ram, Mashhad,  taking place on 20/01/2032:

Clearly Mbun Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Iran-Razavi Khorasan Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Girish Baliyan (15 - 12(1) - 7) who hails from Mashhad, Iran and Confucius Van(7 - 20) from Mashhad, Iran.  Baliyan weighed in at 147 pounds, while Van weighed in at 146 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bilal Farah, and the three ringside judges are Tariq Baig, Amer Farman and Bilal Zaki.
