William Bainum vs Neil Fithen

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkoloma Promotions promoted show at Auckland Peneha, Auckland,  taking place on 23/01/2032:

Clearly Nkoloma Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are William Bainum (15 - 12(2)) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and Neil Fithen(10(4) - 1) from Waitakere, New Zealand.  Both Bainum and Fithen weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Blake Brown, and the three ringside judges are Glynn Telford, Brin Stackpole and Billy Nesmith.  

Round 1: 

Fithen closes the distance.  Fithen pivots to the side of his opponent.  Fithen digs in a left hook to Bainum's ribs.  Fithen clinches his opponent.  Fithen leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Fithen steps inside.  Bainum throws a right uppercut, but Fithen holds on to his opponent.  Fithen is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Fithen's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
