Hitoshi Kuba vs Ryuu Obi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Kyoto promoted show at Kyoto University, Kyoto,  taking place on 07/03/2032:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Japan-Kyoto Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hitoshi Kuba (18(4) - 8(2)) who hails from Kyoto, Japan and Ryuu Obi(9 - 12(1) - 4) from Kyoto, Japan.  Both Kuba and Obi weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jun Ogata, and the three ringside judges are Iwao Yoshioka, Hisao Sugawara and Kei Kobe.  

Round 1: 

Kuba closes the distance and tries to land a left uppercut, but Obi parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Kuba manouvers Obi onto the ropes.  Kuba lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.
