Vuong Hien vs Matt Smith

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre, Melbourne,  taking place on 15/03/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vuong Hien (12 - 2 - 1) who hails from Haiphong, Vietnam and Matt Smith(15 - 7(1) - 1) from Newcastle, Australia.  Both Hien and Smith weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark McBride, and the three ringside judges are Leeroy Nicolaides, Paul Raeburn and Aaron Hilling.  

Round 1: 

Hien hits home with a hard jab.  
Hien switches the action to the outside and lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.

As they grapple, Hien pushes his forearm into Smith's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Hien about fouling.  
Hien switches the action to the outside.  Hien feints a jab, tricking Smith into throwing a left hook counter.  Hien is waiting for the shot and counters with a cross.  
Hien finds the target with a jab.  
Smith steps inside.  Hien digs in a left uppercut to Smith's liver.  Hien holds on to his opponent.  Hien leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Hien hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Hien steps to the outside.  Hien feints a left hook, and then lands a solid overhand right.  
Smith closes the distance.  Smith sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Hien drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  
Smith advances into close range.  Hien lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Smith closes the distance.  Hien is on target with a right hook.  
Hien steps away from his opponent and lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Hien is looking to keep his distance and lands with a stiff jab.  
Hien lands a hard jab.  
Hien drives a jab into his opponents body.  
Hien lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Hien feints a left hook, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands two consecutive overhand lefts to his opponents head.  
Hien lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Hien lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Smith connects with a left hook.  
Smith closes the distance and manages to force Hien into the corner.  Hien connects with a left hook.  Hien holds on to his opponent.  Hien leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Hien's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
