Lucas Argan vs Ian Houp

Boxing Daily Report from the ADR Boxing promoted show at Canberra Stadium, Canberra,  taking place on 31/03/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Australia Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Lucas Argan (13(10) - 0 - 1) who hails from Geelong, Australia and Ian Houp(23(11) - 4(2) - 1) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Argan and Houp weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bob Ivory, and the three ringside judges are Noel Wilson, Brad Hewitt and Brad Hewitt.

Houp tries to land a left hook, but Argan blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Argan is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a solid cross.  
Houp advances into close range.  Argan throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.
