Jean-Franþois Hertzog vs Ian Busasa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-KwaZulu-Natal promoted show at Umlazi Theron, Umlazi,  taking place on 26/02/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the South Africa-KwaZulu-Natal Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jean-Franþois Hertzog (10 - 7(1) - 1) who hails from Durban, South Africa and Ian Busasa(8 - 12 - 3) from Durban, South Africa.  Both Hertzog and Busasa weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cody Fuani, and the three ringside judges are John Dimbisi, Thuso Ledwaba and Verlyn Selasee.  

Round 1: 

Hertzog steps inside.  Busasa drives a left hook into his opponents body.

Hertzog forces Busasa to retreat onto the ropes.  Hertzog hits home with a left hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hertzog dabs at his face checking for damage.

It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Hertzog.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Hertzog sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Hertzog gets on the inside and walks Busasa down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Hertzog is on target with a right hook.
