Noel Reece vs Ed McVay

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Tillysburn Park Stadium, Belfast,  taking place on 26/03/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Noel Reece (9(8) - 0) who hails from Portsmouth, UK and Ed McVay(12 - 19(1) - 6) from London, UK.  Both Reece and McVay weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brett Lannon, and the three ringside judges are Ian Casey, David Hastie and Anthony McCabe.  

Round 1: 

Reece tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Reece steps away from his opponent and strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
McVay lands a left hook.  
McVay throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

McVay manouvers Reece onto the ropes.  McVay throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Reece is looking to keep his distance.  Reece feints a left hook, and then lands a stinging jab.  
McVay lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
McVay throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Reece switches the action to the outside and is on target with a solid jab.

McVay gets on the inside and attempts to land a right uppercut, but Reece slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

McVay steps inside.  Reece lands a left uppercut.  Reece clinches his opponent.  Reece leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Reece steps away from his opponent and lands a jab to McVay's body.  
Reece lands two jab's to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
McVay advances into close range.  Reece lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Reece tries to keep the action at long range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
McVay advances into close range.  Reece is on target with a left hook.  
Reece lands a cross to the body followed by a overhand left to the head.  
McVay steps inside.  Reece pivots to the right of his opponent.  Reece lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Reece clinches his opponent.  Reece tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits McVay behind the head. The referee warns Reece and breaks the clinch.  
Reece lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Reece holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Reece pushes his forearm into McVay's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Reece.  Reece wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McVay dabs at his face checking for damage.

Reece lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Reece steps away from his opponent and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Reece lands a jab.  
McVay lands a jab.  
Reece is looking to keep his distance.  Reece lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  McVay tries to land a cross, but Reece sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
McVay gets on the inside.  Reece pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body, AND MCVAY IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
McVay manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Reece is looking to force the stoppage!  Reece is on target with a telling right hook to McVay's body.  MCVAY IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like McVay has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

McVay manages to force Reece onto the ropes.  Reece lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  Reece ties up his opponent.  Reece uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits McVay behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Reece.

Reece switches the action to the outside.  Reece feints a jab, and then DETONATES a nasty cross on his opponents face.  MCVAY WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Reece thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put McVay away.  Reece hits home with a weighty cross.  MCVAY IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  McVay now seems to have got his legs back.
