Joaquin Carrion vs Rico Calvillo

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at Velodromo Luis Carlos Galan, Bogota,  taking place on 12/04/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joaquin Carrion (13(9) - 0) who hails from Medellin, Colombia and Rico Calvillo(7 - 3 - 3) from Bogota, Colombia.  Both Carrion and Calvillo weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Seferino Enrique, and the three ringside judges are Baltasar Cuadrado, Cisco Osorio and Vicente Vital.  

Round 1: 

Calvillo steps inside.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Calvillo dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Carrion steps to the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Carrion feints a cross, and then lands a spiteful jab.  
Calvillo advances into close range.  Carrion lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Carrion lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Carrion drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Carrion lands a ramrod jab.  
Carrion lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Carrion is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Carrion quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a spiteful jab.  
Carrion lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Carrion switches the action to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Carrion lands a cross.  
Calvillo gets on the inside.  Carrion digs in a left hook to Calvillo's ribs.

Carrion pivots to the right of his opponent and DETONATES a HUGE cross on his opponents face.  CALVILLO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Calvillo almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Calvillo closes the distance.  Carrion connects with a HUGE right hook.  CALVILLO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Carrion senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Carrion is on target with a spiteful left uppercut.  CALVILLO IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 9.  Calvillo now seems to have got his legs back.  
Carrion is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Carrion sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a straight 1 - 2.

Carrion feints a cross, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Carrion is looking to keep his distance and lands two straights followed by an overhand left to his opponents head.

CALVILLO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Carrion!
