Veltry Adu vs Mark Appiah

Boxing Daily Report from the Lamptey Promotions promoted show at Accra Kasanbata, Accra,  taking place on 19/03/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Greater Accra Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Veltry Adu (11 - 15(1) - 2) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Mark Appiah(13 - 6(2) - 3) from Accra, Ghana.  Adu weighed in at 153 pounds and 12 ounces, while Appiah weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Adade, and the three ringside judges are Deion Ayew, Nabulung Akoto and Ben Mayat.  

Round 1: 

Appiah is looking to close the distance.  Appiah steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Adu tries to tag Appiah on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!
