Ranjiv Kari vs Amer Zahedi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-West Bengal promoted show at Kolkata Bidhuri, Kolkata,  taking place on 20/03/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India-West Bengal Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ranjiv Kari (10 - 7 - 3) who hails from Kolkata, India and Amer Zahedi(20 - 8(3)) from Howrah, India.  Kari weighed in at 167 pounds and 12 ounces, while Zahedi weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gurudas Tewari, and the three ringside judges are Devdas Bahri, Indra Narayanan and Indra Narayanan.  

Round 1: 

Zahedi voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Kari is whaling away with hooks, but Zahedi keeps his defence tight.
