Boxing Daily Report from the Big Sexy Boxing promoted show at Salford City Stadium, Manchester,  taking place on 14/03/2032:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a tournament fight from iQ: PROVING GROUNDS.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are James Whitson (8(2) - 1 - 1) who hails from Cork, Ireland and Stuart Snodgrass(5 - 4(1) - 5) from Hamilton, Canada.  Both Whitson and Snodgrass weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kieran Evans, and the three ringside judges are Dave McManus, Mark Hemming and Seth Abraham.  

Round 1: 

Whitson sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Whitson lands a stiff jab.

Snodgrass throws a left hook, but Whitson holds on to his opponent.  Whitson pushes his forearm into Snodgrass's face.  The referee warns Whitson and breaks the clinch.  
Whitson cuts off the ring, trapping Snodgrass in a corner.  Whitson quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Whitson lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Snodgrass is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Snodgrass lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Whitson lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Whitson advances into close range and throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Whitson holds on to his opponent.  Whitson is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
