Alfonso Chicas vs Xeres Magtalas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-NCR promoted show at Dario Gaffud Gym, Manila,  taking place on 22/02/2032:

Clearly AI Philippines-NCR have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-NCR Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alfonso Chicas (15 - 11 - 2) who hails from Manila, Philippines and Xeres Magtalas(11(1) - 0) from Pasig, Philippines.  Both Chicas and Magtalas weighed in at 139 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mark Pasamba, and the three ringside judges are Angel Piluden, Will Pinpin and Guido Mati.  

Round 1: 

Magtalas steps inside.  Chicas sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Magtalas drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  Magtalas holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Magtalas pushes his forearm into Chicas's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
