Nicandro Monico vs Macario Caceres

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Wyndham Manta Convection centre, Manta,  taking place on 08/04/2032:

Clearly Los Moreco Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nicandro Monico (11(10) - 1) who hails from Duran, Ecuador and Macario Caceres(10 - 11 - 8) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Both Monico and Caceres weighed in at 146 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Cruz, and the three ringside judges are Cris Victoria, Santiago Truan and Manny Santiesteban.  

Round 1: 

Monico gets on the inside.  Monico pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Monico attempts to land a right hook, but Caceres sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Monico hits home with a firm left hook.  
Monico lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Monico ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Monico pushes his forearm into Caceres's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Monico.  
Monico steps inside and is on target with a right uppercut to Caceres's ribs.  Monico ties up his opponent.  Monico is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Caceres uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Monico's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Caceres to stop fouling.  
Monico is on target with a right hook to Caceres's body.  Monico clinches his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Monico is on target with a sharp left hook to Caceres's liver.  
Monico walks Caceres down, trapping him on the ropes.  Monico quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Monico lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  Monico ties up his opponent.  Monico tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Caceres behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Monico about fouling.  
Monico forces Caceres to retreat onto the ropes.  Monico lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Monico lands a left hook to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  
Caceres throws a left hook, but Monico holds on to his opponent.  Monico leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Caceres tries to land a jab, but Monico dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Monico steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Monico lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Monico walks Caceres onto the ropes.  Monico lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Monico holds on to his opponent.  Monico tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Caceres behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Caceres is on target with a cross.  
Caceres gets on the inside.  Monico sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Monico lands a left hook to the head, a cross to the head and a right hook to the body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Caceres's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Caceres's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Caceres tries to land a left uppercut, but Monico slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Monico closes the distance and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Monico lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Monico lands a left uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Monico hits home with a right hook.  
Monico lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.

Caceres attempts to land a cross, but Monico dodges the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Monico drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Monico lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Monico lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Caceres is on target with a cross.  
Monico lands a right hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head.

Monico lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Caceres almost instantly recovers.

Monico lands two right hook's to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Monico quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Monico digs in a solid left uppercut to Caceres's ribs.  
Monico drives a stinging right hook into Caceres's body.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Caceres dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Monico digs in a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Frustration is starting to boil over for Caceres now.   He advances forward with head down and it catches Monico in the face!  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  The ref halts the action and sends Monico to the neutral corner.    He warns Caceres that he is heading for a point deduction.  
Monico drives a firm right hook into Caceres's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE CACERES WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Monico tries to land a right uppercut, but Caceres sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  Caceres now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Monico manouvers Caceres into a corner.  Monico pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Monico pivots to the left of his opponent.  Caceres attempts to land a left hook, but Monico sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

Monico knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Monico lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES CACERES!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Monico!
