Daniil Volkonsky vs Ivan Federoff

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Russia-Perm Krai promoted show at Dotse Gym, Perm,  taking place on 29/03/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Russia-Perm Krai Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Russia, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Daniil Volkonsky (23(10) - 0) who hails from Berezniki, Russia and Ivan Federoff(24 - 7(3) - 5 - 1(NC)) from Berezniki, Russia.  Volkonsky weighed in at 121 pounds and 14 ounces, while Federoff weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Anton Zobnin, and the three ringside judges are Fedar Polsky, Georgiy Yesheyev and Viktor Davydov.  

Round 1: 

Volkonsky advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Volkonsky ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Volkonsky pushes his forearm into Federoff's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Volkonsky thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Federoff away.  Volkonsky lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND FEDEROFF IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  It looks like Federoff has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Volkonsky steps inside and drives a firm left hook into his opponents liver.  Volkonsky holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Volkonsky pushes his forearm into Federoff's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Volkonsky manouvers Federoff into the corner.  Volkonsky lands a sharp right uppercut.  
Volkonsky is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents ribs.  Volkonsky clinches his opponent.  Volkonsky tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Federoff's kidney. As they grapple, Volkonsky pushes his forearm into Federoff's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Volkonsky about fouling.  
Volkonsky attempts to land a right hook, but Federoff blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Volkonsky lands a jab to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Volkonsky advances into close range and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  Volkonsky clinches his opponent.  Volkonsky is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Volkonsky cuts off the ring, trapping Federoff in the corner.  Volkonsky lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Volkonsky is looking to close the distance and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  Volkonsky ties up his opponent.  Volkonsky uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Federoff behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Volkonsky pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Federoff throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Volkonsky advances into close range and lands a sharp right hook.  
Volkonsky digs in a stinging right hook to Federoff's body.  
Volkonsky lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Volkonsky lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Volkonsky stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Volkonsky slams a mean left uppercut into his opponents body.  FEDEROFF IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Volkonsky whips in a spiteful left hook to Federoff's ribs.  FEDEROFF IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 9.  
Volkonsky lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS FEDEROFF TO THE CANVAS!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Volkonsky!
