Declan MacDermott vs Kris Whyte

Boxing Daily Report from the Simuunza Promotions promoted show at Minneapolis Stobbe, Minneapolis,  taking place on 16/04/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the USA-Missouri Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Declan MacDermott (11 - 8 - 1) who hails from Kansas City, USA and Kris Whyte(17 - 8(2) - 1) from St. Louis, USA.  MacDermott weighed in at 200 pounds, while Whyte weighed in at 199 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Brad Lopez, and the three ringside judges are Sam Cavanaugh, Charles Gwilliam and Bart Binney.  

Round 1: 

MacDermott steps inside.  Whyte pivots to the left of his opponent.  Whyte attempts to land a left hook, but MacDermott blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.
