Jack MacDougall vs Mark Clay

Boxing Daily Report from the Adams Promotions promoted show at Omaha McFarlane, Omaha,  taking place on 30/03/2032:

Clearly Adams Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Nebraska Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jack MacDougall (12 - 23(2) - 6) who hails from Omaha, USA and Mark Clay(17 - 10 - 3) from Lincoln, USA.  Both MacDougall and Clay weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Broadley, and the three ringside judges are Lucas Doyle, John Murray and Leon Maxwell.  

Round 1: 

MacDougall connects with a right hook.  MacDougall throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Clay attempts to land a jab, but MacDougall blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Clay lands a jab.  
MacDougall is looking to keep the action on the outside.  MacDougall contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Clay finds the target with a stinging jab.  
MacDougall quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Clay throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as MacDougall dabs at his face checking for damage.  MacDougall has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused bad swelling  around the left eye.  
Clay lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.
