Billy McNaughton vs Dave Davies

Boxing Daily Report from the Zulu Promotions promoted show at Richmond Lannon, Richmond,  taking place on 31/03/2032:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-South Atlantic Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Billy McNaughton (23(2) - 2) who hails from Norfolk, USA and Dave Davies(13 - 17(1) - 2) from Durham, USA.  McNaughton weighed in at 146 pounds and 15 ounces, while Davies weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Patrick Higgins, and the three ringside judges are Cole Scott, Jamie McClennen and Mason Mundie.  

Round 1: 

McNaughton lands a jab.  
McNaughton steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Davies tries to keep the action at long range.  McNaughton lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
McNaughton lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Davies is on target with a right hook.

Davies steps to the outside and tries to land a cross, but McNaughton dodges the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
McNaughton walks Davies down, trapping him in the corner.  McNaughton quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a stinging left uppercut.  
McNaughton drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  
McNaughton manouvers Davies into a corner.  McNaughton lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

McNaughton senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Davies and just needs the right shot.  McNaughton lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS DAVIES DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
McNaughton lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  Davies is not able to stop any of these shots...he looks in trouble...the ref steps in and stops the action!  He says its over!  The winner by TKO is McNaughton!
